Charan Po Rantan
A sister unit consisting of Momo (vocals/younger sister born in the Heisei era) and Koharu (accordionist/older sister born in the Showa era). The older sister is a street performer and the younger sister was just a high school student. They made their major debut with Avex in 2014. They have expanded their activities not only in Japan but also overseas with their unique circus-like worldview and their international sound that incorporates music from all genres based on Balkan music and chanson. In addition to their activities as Charan-Po-Rantan, they are also involved in a wide range of activities such as providing songs for movies, dramas, and plays, acting, commercials, voice acting, illustration, writing, and video editing. Their digital single "Susume, Tamani Nigetemo" released in 2016 was chosen as the opening theme for the TBS drama "Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu" and caused a great sensation. On July 17, 2019, they released their major best album "Ii Kakodori". In 2020, they released the digital single "Sora ga Haretara" on May 27th, and then released 8 consecutive home-recorded digital singles. On October 28th, 2020, they released a new album "Komoriuta". They became independent in September 2021. On September 18th, they started pre-ordering "Bébé Medusa", an affordable button accordion produced by Koharu. They sold 531 button accordions in one night. They plan to continue expanding their world while running their own company.
