A sister unit consisting of Momo (vocals/younger sister born in the Heisei era) and Koharu (accordion/older sister born in the Showa era).
The band was formed in 2009 by an older sister who was a street performer and a younger sister who was just a high school student.
Made major debut with Avex in 2014.
With a base of Balkan music, chanson and more, the band's international sound incorporates music from all genres, and a unique circus-like worldview, they are expanding the scope of their activities not only in Japan but also overseas.
In addition to his activities as part of Charan-Po-Rantan, his work spans a wide range of fields, including providing music for films, dramas, and stage productions, acting, appearing in commercials, voice acting, illustration, writing, and video editing.
The digital single "Susume, Tamani Nigetemo" released in 2016 was used as the opening theme for the TBS drama "Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu" (The Full-Time Wife Escapist), generating a huge response.
On July 17, 2019, they released their major best-of album, "Ii Kakodori".
In 2020, starting with the digital single "Sora ga Haretara" released on May 27th, they embarked on a series of eight consecutive home-recorded digital single releases.
On October 28, 2020, the album "Komori Uta" was released.
Independent since September 2021.
On September 18th, Koharu produced an affordable button accordion.
Pre-orders for "Bébé Medusa" begin, selling 531 button accordions in one night.
They plan to continue expanding their world while running their own company.
