Kumiles
A festival band that plays Cambodian dance music. They started out as a band playing Cambodian garage rock from the 1960s and 1970s, and made their debut on stage at UFO Club in 2018.
The group has gradually gained popularity among Cambodian communities across Japan, and has added a repertoire of songs ranging from Cambodian folk songs to the latest hits, appearing at the Cambodia Festival 2023 hosted by the Embassy.
In addition, in 2024, they will collaborate with a singer from their home country to produce their first original song, and the music video will be shot in Cambodia, attracting attention.
The organization is also committed to introducing Asian culture in general, inviting musicians from both Cambodia and Thailand to its event, Rom! Rom! Rom!
